Yellowstone, part three!

warning!!
this post contains LOTS of pictures :)
Animals like these can stop traffic for miles. Of course we are just like everyone else. We send the kids with the camera :)
Or we send Jim with the video camera :)

On one stop (for a bathroom break!) I spotted this little deer.

Isn't it crazy?? I hope you can see the head and the antlers.

Next we hiked to the brink of Yellowstone Lower Falls. It was an easy walk down to the brink. Walking back UP was an entirely different matter. However, see the water just as it goes over the edge for 308 foot fall was spectacular!! It was worth the steep climb back to the car.

Here is the brink.

cute kids. We enjoyed classical music (compliments of Marissa's music searching on the satellite radio). Classical music was the perfect background music for Yellowstone National Park. Completely Perfect.

This is the river and the canyon. Beautiful.
Also beautiful :)

Our day at Yellowstone was mostly perfect.

The traffic out of Yellowstone.... the ick part of the day, but we survived. We were a little late to dinner. If only the Idahoans could work on their roads during the winter. :(
