Merry Christmas 2010

Ahhh, Christmas Morning!

It has been so wonderful to have all the kids home this year! It is awesome to have Kevin home from his 2-year mission. We had a great Christmas! Santa was good to all of us.

With Jacquie heading to Antarctica Rexburg, she received lots of things to keep her warm.

Marissa got a KINDLE!! Our cousin Paige said it best, "I can't think of a more appropriate person to have a Kindle!" So true, so true. In fact we've seen very little of Marissa since receiving her kindle (named Kirby btw).

Oh yes, let's remember the glorious days of October when the Giants won the World Series!!
It's a day no Wagdog will soon forget!

Wagdogz Soccer!

We decided to head to the church-- since Bakersfield has been quite soggy this Christmas Break. We played some basketball and some indoor soccer-- everyone had wet shoes (because we started out at a wet, rainy park) so we played barefoot. Well, I refused to play barefoot because of my foot problems. :) Fun was had by all!

Gingerbread Houses with the Hardings!

This year we decided to get together with our best friends, The Hardings! It was a boys vs. girls competition. I was a little worried when the teams started putting their houses together but they all got them put together with no major mishaps. Here are a few pictures of the fun evening.

After much deliberation, the girls' house was awarded 'The Prettiest' and the boys' house was awarded 'The Coolest.' I think everyone would agree that it was a really fun night. Perhaps we need to make it a tradition!

I shouldn't leave out that we had a wonderful dinner before the decorating began. Lisa made us Buffalo Burgers!! They were delicious!

Riley is playing soccer for CHS this year. That means lots of cold soccer games for us to view. And we are happy and excited to do it!
