all work and very little play

I wish I were blogging about all the fun things we have been doing!

That's of course if you call getting ready for another wedding fun!!! It most definitely feels like a never ending project to me-- with one wedding and another right after it's all I do these days. There are so many things to do, so many details to cover, so many hurdles to overcome!! It's crazy. I have a new respect for all moms who have done weddings. It is INSANE.

However,

Jacquie is a good worker. Give her a list and she'll get it ALL done. I'm glad to have her home and helping (even if she did sneak in a little "gotta go see Ben" trip!)

So perhaps this fall sometime... after the wedding, and the reception, and the departure of the college kids, and the start of the new school year (heaven please help me have some time to get ready for THAT!), and the two kids playing fall sports (football and tennis), and my visiting teaching, and my primary calling, and cooking dinners, and my trying to be a nice wife and mom.... perhaps I'll be able to blog again sometime.

BEAR World

The wedding was real nice....

But one of the biggest highlights of my trip was my second time to BEAR WORLD. Forget Disneyland, this is the happiest place on earth. I could go there everyday. It's the best thing about Idaho. :) When I retire someday I want to go work here--- for FREE. Seriously. They don't even need to pay me.

Spending all day with these adorable creatures would be awesome. Here's a big old black bear!

Next up is this super cute Grizzly Bear.

It was so hot the day we went to Bear World, the other Grizzly was sleeping in the pond!!

And yeah, there are some other animals there too.

(Just not as cute as the bears!)

We took Jacquie and Ben with us. They had never been to BEAR WORLD!! That is so crazy because they live like 10 minutes from the place. They are hooked now though.

No little cubs (yet) for JQ and Benny.

They do make a cute bear couple!

THE BEST PART OF THE DAY!!!

I absolutely completed something on my bucket list!! I got to bottle feed some baby bears!!! Five baby bears to be exact. They are 6 months old and adorable. I was totally in love. :)

They are so cute and soft. They love you to pet their heads while they eat.

This little guy wasn't being as good... They teach them that it is bad manners to stand while eating. Personally, I thought it was adorable.

Seriously. One of the best days of my life. :)

When the babies have full tummies they "purr." They actually call it nucking (sp??) It doesn't sound exactly like a cat purr, but that's the closest way to describe it.

I'm in love.
