Congratulations Marissa!

Alison, Marissa, & Laurie
(all heading to BYU in August!)
Dad, Marissa, & Mom

Marissa & Mr. Coleman (her favorite teacher!)

Jacquie, Marissa, & Andrea

Marissa has officially graduated from High School!! It was a fun night. Grandpa & Grandma Wagner came too! We had a great and yummy dinner at BJ's and then on to the Centennial High School football field for the official ceremony. Marissa and other senior choir members sang the national anthem which was amazing. All the seniors graduating with a 4.0 or higher were awarded special academic medals and got to graduate first!! That was pretty exciting for the Wagdogz as we are used to coming close to the end of alphabetical order. It was a fun night. Congratulations Marissa!

Mantis Watcher

To help entertain Riley, I brought home my classroom praying mantises. A lot of my students took some home to raise so Riley got the leftovers. We have around 15-20 left. Today 2 of them molted! Last year our remaining two both died in tragic molting accidents... we hope these survive! They are amazing creatures.

Riley managed to give me a little smile for this picture. He is still feeling horrible. So far all the tests have come back normal. We are still awaiting results on a few. Riley lost 2 more pound bringing up his weight loss to about 17 pounds. We are hoping the doctors will be able to determine the problem so that we can get Riley on the road to getting better.

Thank you to everyone for your calls, notes, and prayers. We appreciate all that everyone has done on Riley's behalf.

Poor Riley!

Normally I wouldn't post a terrible picture of someone, but this is how Riley looks these days. All day. Every day. Our sweet, energetic, active Riley has been very sick for about 4 weeks. The doctors are running lots of tests to try and figure out what is ailing him. We all feel so bad for him. We miss our fun, always active boy.
Please keep him in your prayers. We'll keep you all updated as we can.

Happy Mother's Day!

Mom & 6 children- 1968
(the day they brought me home!)

My mom & me- 1969

Although my mother is not here to physically tell her 'Happy Mother's Day!' I was very blessed in my life to have such a great mother. She taught me everything I needed to know in my first 25 years. At least all of the important stuff. Not a day goes by that I don't think of my mom. I hope they read blogs in heaven. :) Happy Mother's Day Mom!

Mom Wagner & 5 children- 1970

Amazingly I was doubly blessed in my life. When I married my sweetheart I gained another mother. An incredible woman raised my husband. I have been fortunate to spend almost 21 years learning from her. Thank you Mom Wagner for all you do for me and my family. Happy Mother's Day!

Yo, Adrian

Today I got some sad news about a very dear friend who was diagnosed with cancer. This friend and I lived for Rocky movies. Rocky Balboa, ever the underdog, always found the strength to rise above. Amazingly, Rocky IV was on tv tonight. I'll take that as a sign that my dear friend will defeat that 'communist cancer' just like Rocky took down the Russian!
You are in our prayers.
