Talented Toes!

Here's the evening entertainment! There is rarely a dull moment at this house! Personally, I think the funniest part is that Jim is sound asleep in the background. When he saw this video he said, "What? I don't even remember the kids doing that!" LOL!

Impressive kids aren't they? I never would have imagined that my children would have been so talented!!

Happy 12th Birthday Andee-Lou!!

Andrea turned 12 today! And, what do most 12 year olds want? A cell phone of course!! We surprised her by getting her a sweet cell phone of her own!! You'll enjoy watching the video, due to the antics of her siblings. I especially like how the camera shakes whenever the videographer laughs. (that would be jacquie!) If you like Marissa's talented clapping feet, check back in a few days. You'll be amazed!!

Back to Andrea... it is amazing to watch this sweet little girl grow into a beautiful young women. My how the years have flown by. Little Andee-lou was a very easy baby. She slept well and didn't demand much. She was born with some crazy hair! Kevin once thought I was holding a furball, but it was only Andrea. Andrea has always had the most beautiful hair. She once cut off one of her pigtails... I cried that day, but we lived through it. She has donated 23 inches of gorgeous blonde hair to Locks of Love. She is currently growing her hair again. Andrea has always been a good sport about going to the endless soccer games and swim meets of her older siblings. Although she wouldn't ever play soccer, she is a great swimmer! She broke out in to her own by playing volleyball and is most recently trying out track.

I am the youngest child in my family, just like Andrea. I always had a very close relationship with my mother, partly because I was at the end. I hope that Andrea and I will continue to have a closeness like I had with my mom! I sure love you Andee! Happy Birthday! (I'll try to upload some baby pics... tonight the computer is not happy with me!)

MORMAL!!

It's Mormal today! That's the nickname for the LDS Church sponsored Prom held annually! The girls looked absolutely gorgeous. You should be especially impressed by the gold cast sleeve that JQ is wearing. (It only took me an hour to make..... today!! What a lovely time to break your wrist!)
It wouldn't be right not to show the wagdogz favorite 'open mouth' pose!

The girls and their dates!
Aren't they adorable?
As for the mother? She is exhausted like no other!
It was all worth it. What a special memory.
These girls are just growing up too fast!

Cinderella-- Wagdog style!

Cinderella was a muched loved story the the little wagdog girls have watched many, many times. So, one should not be surprised that while trying on ball gowns something like this would happen. Poor, poor little cinder-jq-ella!!

Lessons Learned- Part 2

It is good to know that JQ has learned her lesson.
She can now only write with her left hand.
She just handed me the above note. If you can't read it, it states:
"Sometimes you shouldn't take things from your sister because bad things happen."

THE RIVER IS RESURRECTED

One of the favorite warm weather past times of the Wagner children has been playing 'The River.' Many, many hours have been spent with a slow, very slow running hose and an area of dirt. My children were very happy spending oodles of time in the dirt. What more could a mother want than hours of time uninterrupted because her children were perfectly content playing in the dirt and mud. As an added bonus, the tree that sat near 'the river' grew and grew.

Fast forward to 2007. Father and Mother are forever cursed because they put in a pool and covered 'the river.' It is surprising that they weren't forced to wear a Scarlet R on their chest for the remainder of their lives for their ghastly behavior. How on earth they (we) could have been so cruel one will never know. The oldest child was particularily crushed. He truly could not fathom his younger siblings growing up without hours spent at 'the river.' What were his parents thinking when they thought that the younger siblings might enjoy a beautiful swimming pool??

Fast forward again to 2009. Alas... all is not lost. Kevin can rest better each night. The younger siblings have moved 'the river' but have kept the tradition. The parents are relieved of the scorn and shame of building a pool. Isn't it great??

We can all sleep better now.

Lessons Learned

This is what happens when sisters fight over
fancy, gold, sparkly, shiny hats.
Today Marissa was fascinated with Andrea's new gold hat which she got at a birthday party yesterday. Of course she was trying it on after church. She took it off, only for a moment, to change her clothes. She told Jacquie, "I know you're going to take this hat. Don't take this hat." Of course that was taunting that Jacquie could not resist. She waited for the perfect moment. Yes, right when Marissa was--how should I say this-- undressed (?!?) she grabbed the hat and ran.
She ran like the wind!!
She ran like no other!!
She ran....
and smacked her hand into the blasted door!!
After spending an hour or so at urgent care.... she is not running any more.
We'll await the official diagnosis when the radiologist can check the x-rays. The wristbone doesn't look broken, but there is a big bump/chunk which could possibly be a chip. Meanwhile, Jacquie is hurting! Poor, poor Jacquie!!
I've circled the weird bump which prompted me to take her to the urgent care. I (Dr. Judy Wagner) diagnosed a bone chip in the beginning. What's your diagnosis?
