We haven't seen the sun for a few days here in Bakersfield. If you didn't already know, we have only two seasons here. Summer and Fog. The fog season has arrived. We usually welcome this season as we 'school-goers' delight in the most wonderful 'Fog Delay.' For those not from these parts, a fog delay means that we get to sleep in for about 2 hours and then go to school!!However, this year's fog has been nasty and mean. It has stayed for days, but just sits a little too high for any fog delays. (yes, there has been a lot of unhappiness in our house-- mostly from the mom!!) It is damp and super COLD!! We are
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the family picture from quite a few years ago. This was taken on the way home from a wonderful, fun weekend at a cabin with our neighbors. We enjoyed a lot of snow, a warm fire, and yummy hot chocolate!!
