Sweet 16

 Riley is 16!!

It's hard to believe he is that old already!  He chose to go out to BJ's Brewhouse for his birthday dinner. He ordered the Brewhouse Double Cheeseburger. Seriously that thing was HUGE.  It was mighty delicious says Riles.  Think he could eat it all??

He even got a free pazookie for his birthday :)

And yes... he ate the WHOLE burger along with all the wedge fries.  I couldn't believe he ate the whole thing. He didn't even struggle.  I couldn't help but look at these pictures and not remember back to the time when I had to beg him to eat an eggo waffle. (If you don't remember.... look back at this POST.)

He ordered his favorite chocolate champagne cake....

And he ate a big slice of it too!!

He got a great BYU keychain...

We hope that driving test goes well :)

Since he's already outgrown last year's. Can you guess where he wants to go to college?

And what 16 year old boy wouldn't want a fancy new knife?? How great is that?? He got some other cool gifts too....  a fancy plaid shirt, new headphones, new golf glove, new shorts, a rockin' paperweight, some gift cards, and a soon to be treasured book of brotherly advice.  16 is turning out to be pretty good!

We all adore kid number 4 (great rhyme, ya?)  We had a real scare a few years back-- so we are always especially grateful that Riley is with us and incredibly healthy. He is a wonderful boy. He is an amazing student, a great friend, a worthy priesthood holder, and very obedient.

I can't believe I didn't snap a picture of Riley's costume. Don't fret. I'll get a picture of him. It deserves its own post anyway. You'll love it!

Number 5!

Today was a big day in the Wagner family!

Number 5, also known as Andrea, got her braces off!  

We started our journey in orthdontia around 12 years ago. And around $30,000 or so (give or take a couple of thousand.)  Ya. Serious coin. I used to always ask Dr. Johnson (before he retired and sold the practice to Dr. Thurman) how is beach house that the Wagners were buying for him was coming along! He always laughed. So I guess I was close ;)

But, as you can see -- just look at those pearly white, gorgeous, straight teeth that every dollar was well spent!! We have five kids with beautiful teeth!!

I'd pay do it all over again if I had to. Seriously these kids had better wear their retainers because I really won't pay for it again!!  Now we just need to yank the wisdom (teeth that is) out of number 5 and I can write a post about our oral surgeon...

Little Thieves

Guess who's back???

We have had multiple visits from this little "friend."  I think he thinks he's a cat. He sure loves cat food!! 

We let Ella chase him the other night. That was hilarious. I've never heard Ella bark like that. This little coon isn't scared of people at all. He (or she) doesn't mind eating in front of our whole family!!  You'd think we lived on the edge of a forest or something. It's crazy.
