General Conference - Easter Style!

Although I didn't get pictures of the Easter baskets or the family watching conference, I did get these cute pictures of Riley with our 'Conference' Puzzle!
We loved Easter, yummy cinnamon rolls, watching Conference at home (most of us watched all 4 sessions!), and building a 1000 piece puzzle! The puzzle was Riley's idea and it was a fun family activity for a wonderful, relaxing
Wow! This is kind of a creepy smile!! I'm a little scared!

Back in the day

Back when I was a kid-- You know, long ago when we had to walk to school in the snow, uphill (both ways) and actually had to play with the children we babysat instead of just putting in a video--- Anyway, back to what I was saying... When I was a kid pictures were taken on film. You had to pay for the developing. Often you'd be so disappointed when the pictures turned out bad-- you'd missed your chance to keep a photo of a great time or person.
Today's kids have a great toy.
The digital camera.

Guess who loves to play with my digital camera??
I'm sure glad I didn't have to pay for the developing ;)

Wagdogz Got Talent!

This little Wagdog (who isn't so little anymore) is showing some serious multi-tasking SKILLS!!! I mean seriously, at just the young age of 13 Andrea can watch television, talk on the phone, and TEXT!! I would not doubt that she is probably carrying on conversations via texting with MULTIPLE friends right here. She wasn't, however, thrilled to have a photo shoot at this particular time. Too bad.... We could have added it to her list :)
Love you Andee!!

Wagners love Weddings!

Last Saturday our nephew Mark married this beautiful girl, Mallory in the Timpanogos Temple. It was a beautiful wedding and a beautiful day. We were so grateful for the opportunity to be there. Aren't they a cute couple?

Here are my cuties- Riley, Marissa, Andrea, and Jacquie!

We had fun taking pictures outside with Grandpa & Grandma...
Here are Cathy and Mike, Rich, Brittani, Zach (soon to be Elder Wagner in the Fort Worth, Texas Mission!), Jason and Devyn. Nice hat and nice smile Rich!

Here are the Jensens:
(the ones that could come! We sure did miss Russ and Lindsay!)
Heather, Suzanne, Keith, and Trevor

And finally, here we are with the greatest grandparents :)

It was a wonderful day! We had a great time eating at Chili's with Suzanne and kids and Grandpa and Grandma! I won't soon forget when Marissa nearly burned up from eating something spicy. Dad's reference to 'Dumb and Dumber' was pretty funny-- it is unfortunate that there was not a bottle of mustard handy to accompany the ketchup so you could cool down your mouth!! The reception that evening was fabulous as well!! And this ends all of the posts from our Spring Vacation 2010! (at least I think it does!)

Utah Snow Skiing

While in Utah, Jim and Riley went skiing. Jim was a little disappointed that he couldn't entice any of the girls to go with him... they all wanted to go shopping with their mom! (surprise, surprise-- I have taught them well!)
Here's Jim in a favorite setting: on top of a snowy mountain!
It was a beautiful day to ski! They picked the best weather of the week. It was really windy on top of the mountain, but other than that, it was a great day!
They did take some video, but Riley skiis so fast you can hardly see him. So, sorry Riley for not uploading it!

I'm glad you two boys had fun!

Have you read our other blog lately?

Here is my favorite missionary!!
Isn't he so handsome??
(Even if I say so myself!)
Elder Wagner has trained three new missionaries! Here is a recent picture of him with his three 'sons' (as they say in the mission field.)
He is almost down to only 4 months left on his mission. Crazy, I know! I'm so excited to see him in August. I commented the other day during lunch, in the teacher's lounge, that "I could hardly wait for August!" Another teacher said, "Bite your tongue!!" I laughed and then explained why I was anxious for August... we all laughed!! :)
If you haven't read his weekly letters in awhile check out his site...

A Sunday in Utah

On Sunday we went to hear the Mormon Tabernacle Choir!
My favorite song was "When the Saints Go Marching"! It was awesome! We all felt like we were right down on Main Street in Disneyland!
Here we are just outside of the Tabernacle. I still marvel at the incredible acoustics in this building. Years ago my picture was taken on the steps of the Tabernacle and then published in the Deseret News the next day!! I was famous! I'll have to find it, scan it, and post it! :)

Here we are in the visitors center...
Marissa is currently taking a 'Writings of Isaiah' class. I thought she needed a picture with him :)
Here Riley and Braden are posing for a picture with the cute little daffodils that were blooming in the flower beds at the Conference Center! They were so cute!! (The daffodils.... Okay, the boys are pretty cute too!)
