one of our old favorites

You can only imagine how excited I was when I 'found' this on the web!

This is pretty much the best game for kids ever invented. My kids spent many, many evenings playing this game. You can find the game and directions here. http://www.executivehomemaker.com/2009/04/dont-eat-pete/

In a nutshell, you place a treat (m&m's if you have some-- or anything else small and tasty: mini marshmallows, cheerios, raisins, etc.) on each square. One person leaves the room while the rest of the players decide which square is 'Pete'. The person who left comes back in and slowly eats the treats. When they touch 'Pete' everyone screams (emphasis on ScReAm) "DON'T EAT PETE!" They have to put 'Pete' down (not that this really happens, most of the time they quickly eat 'Pete') and their turn is over. It can last for hours :).

Print it up and enjoy :)
