Currently I am reading "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" to my 3rd grade class. Yesterday I made some chocolate chip cookies. I am not exaggerating when I say that I became a little alarmed when Harry's arch enemy's face appeared in one of my cookies.

Can you see him? Come on... use your imagination. You know, the one you had when you were in the 3rd grade. Well, worry not Potter fans. I have taken care of he-who-must-not-be-named. He is gone. Off to my belly he went and then ultimately to my hips or thighs.

Yosemite!

We just spent three days in the awesome Yosemite Valley. Here we are at the top of Vernal Falls. Yes, all of us, walked/climbed/crawled up the famous Mist Trail and its never-ending steps. We all made it! Then, to top it off, we decided to climb higher!!! Crazy, I know. We actually chose the longer, yet easier, route back. (Hint: not crawling down the wet, steep never-ending staircase sounded really good to me!) We climbed higher for some incredible views of Nevada Falls and Vernal Falls and then down switchbacks that seemed never ending. Even though most of us are sore today, it was worth it. Some very funny German guy took this picture. He insisted we put our hands up! Pretty good pic I must say!! Danka!

Here's the evening entertainment! There is rarely a dull moment at this house! Personally, I think the funniest part is that Jim is sound asleep in the background. When he saw this video he said, "What? I don't even remember the kids doing that!" LOL!

Impressive kids aren't they? I never would have imagined that my children would have been so talented!!
