Ick!!!

Not the best week for the Wagdogz' left arms....

Last week Riley's was broken at swim practice.

This week Andrea's was bitten at swim practice.

She's doing okay. We're pretty sure it was a black widow.

Seriously.... I asked the coaches what on earth was going on!!! What kind of bad luck streak is this????

Insanity.

TICKETS

I don't know what you're doing on March 23rd-- precisely at 12:01am...

But Andrea and I?  We'll be watching these gorgeous people.  We'll be freaking out because we'll be so excited.  Only two things could make it better-- and that would be if Marissa and Jacquie were with us.

Dude.

Seriously.

Can't wait for THE HUNGER GAMES movie!!

Bought the tickets today.

Broken Scaphoid--Broken Swimmer

Just got the first (of probably many!) casts. Riley broke the scaphoid bone in his hand. This is a tricky little bone that doesn't like to heal.

They recheck it in 2 weeks. If its showing improvement he will get to move into a waterproof cast (which means he can get back into swim practice and training!). If it isn't improving, then he will have to have surgery.

Bummer. Riley is not thrilled---but likes this cast much more than the splint.

Squaw Peak

Yesterday Kevin and Marissa thought it would be fun to hike up to Squaw Peak!! What a beautiful view :). And some pretty cute kids-- even if I say so myself ;)

Uh-Oh

Total bummer.

First week is swim practice.... A great game of dodgeball at the end of dry land practice and the worst thing happens.

Riley is keeping his team alive. He runs backwards to avoid the ball. Falls backwards and...

Ouch. Broken wrist :(

Lots of pain today. Consult with the hand specialist/surgeon on Monday.

Total Bummer.

Dear Mrs. Wagner,

I've decided to start a series of "Dear Mrs. Wagner" letters.  One of my favorite things about being a teacher is the letters I receive from students.  Some are funny, some are sad, and some are precious.  This year I have a few students who struggle getting their work done in a timely manner.  Sometimes tough lessons have to be learned....   Here's a keeper:
