Cougar Cousins

There are many Wagners at BYU!

It's pretty cool, especially since I didn't have any relatives at BYU when I went there. In fact I only had a couple of people from my home town!!

Anyway, these cousins are there for all the important stuff. Ellen's husband recently had an organ recital and these are some of the folks who went. Thanks Mallory for the picture!! From left to right: Mark, Heather, Kevin, Marissa, Paige, Karen, and Jeanine!

Way to REPRESENT!!

Too cute!

My bff sent me this video today. I thought it was adorable. She tried to take her son Max and her dog, Zorro for a walk. But they had an unexpected tag-a-long.... Batman!! Their adorable kitten. Needless to say, she didn't get very far....

D. Dinosaur

If you knew Kevin when he was little (perhaps this still rings true today!?!) he was obsessed with dinosaurs. In fact, he renamed himself Kevin Shaffer Wagner D. Dinosaur. He referred to himself as that all of the time.

Today I was wandering around Walgreens (while Andrea was at piano lessons) and saw these adorable little penny banks. If they weren't a ridiculous $6.99 each, I would have bought them. Sorry to Marissa and Riley... they didn't have any in your names :( I wonder what kind of dinosaurs you two would be??? Any guesses??

Anyway... I love the little description they give. Very fitting indeed.
Kevin is very thunderous.

Jacquie most definitely has an appetite for fun.

Cutest spikes??!! Seriously!!! She was called a furball back in the day and still has gorgeous locks!!

awwwwww!

One of my students has 5 baby dwarf bunnies!! They are so cute. He has 1 brown, 1 black, and 3 white. I tried them all and the brown one was by far the softest!!
Cutest little things ever!!
I almost brought one home... it is very tempting!!
But.... coming soon this week are
Baby CHICKS!!
They are due on Wed/Thursday. Look forward to pictures :)

my birthday wish...

In case you aren't a fan of Spongebob Squarepants (and seriously, you should be a fan. but that's another post for another day.) Anyway, lately I have felt just like Spongebob felt. My trusty 'Spat' has died. There is no chance of a life-saving at the ER either. My 'spat' is gone. :(

Jim killed him. He got too rough while cutting a cookie in half and literally broke my 'spat' in half.

Here's the deal. I have many spatulas. Some are even like "Le Spatula" if you know what I mean. I don't mind the newer models for pancakes, scrambled eggs, or even quesadillas. But for cookies it was only my 'spat' that could do the job. Those fancy teflon plastic imposters could just not do what my trusty friend 'spat' could do. A regular old fashioned-- dare I say 'vintage?'-- metal spatula with a plastic handle is the best for taking warm delicious cookies off the scorching hot cookie sheet (which is regular old metal basic cookie sheet-- no fancy teflon or any nonsense). There just isn't a good replacement for my 'spat.' I've tried to find one and can't seem to find a regular old metal spatula any where!!

It's making me crazy mad. And sad.

So. In case you didn't know, my birthday is coming soon. Want to make me happy?? Start looking for a regular old beautiful irreplacable metal spat. And then just send it on to me. It will make my dreams come true.

I miss my 'spat'

Le Spatula just isn't the same. I hear you Spongebob. I understand your pain.
