But I just had to give a shout out to the
SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS!!
I'm pretty sure that if you are a Wagner,
then it is a given that you are a Giants Fan!!
We are so excited.

Just one more game to go...
Let's Go GIANTS!!

And can you believe how little and cute Riley is??

And don't you just miss Trevor?? (and Zack, who isn't in these pictures- sorry Z Wag!) Perhaps there faithful service is giving the Giants an edge :)

Happy Birthday JQ!

Today is Jacquie's 18th Birthday!

It's also the 18th of the month... so that means that THIS is her year! Her golden year!!
I decided to just post some random JQ pictures.
This is one of my new favorites.
Jacquie is an amazing girl. I have missed her so much. She always did such a great job cleaning up our house! She was a great shopping partner. She was always willing to run an errand for me. I'm sure she still does all of those things... they just aren't with me anymore. And yes, that makes me sad.

This week I have regretted sending her to school when she was 4. I should have kept her home another year so that I would have had her here with me for another year. Somehow that didn't even cross my mind back then.

Maybe it was because I just didn't know how awesome she'd turn out :) When she was little, she was cute but man did she get into stuff. It didn't matter what kind of stuff... she just got into it. All the time. Maybe that's why I sent her to school when she was only 4. :)

Happy Birthday Jacquie!

You have grown into an amazing young adult!
We love you!

Their first 5K

This morning, Riley and Andrea ran a 5k.
I am totally impressed.
Here's how they looked at the end!
Here is their cool t-shirt!!

A high school quarterback in Bakersfield had an unfortunate atv accident a few weeks ago. He is now paralyzed from the waist down. The 5k was organized as a fundraiser to help the family with medical bills. Tyler, the recipient, was even at the race today. He is also a member of the LDS church.

I am proud of Riley and Andrea for running the race and helping the Schilhabel family. You guys rock!

Lightweights shouldn't look!

I will forewarn you... these pictures might make you gag! View at your own risk!

Here is my lovely foot, post surgery!
Pretty gnarly? yes!

It feels pretty gnarly as well. Today it is showing the bruising that the doctor said would come. It's also a little more swollen than it was yesterday-- I probably did too much walking yesterday :(
Here's a close-up!

Thank goodness for pain medication. I couldn't have made it without them! At least it is on the mend. Anyone know how to get the doctor's marker off?? And no... don't tell me nail polish remover or alcohol-- that sounds painful!!

Sorry to share my painful pictures, but it is my reality right now. I go back to work on Monday (with a gimpy walk!) I have been very blessed with lots of cards, food, surprise diet cokes, and gift cards. Thank you, Thank you friends! You are awesome.

Ouchie

Sorry to show pictures of my foot. Pretty much I dislike feet. I don't like to talk about them, look at them, or have anyone touch mine. I have ridiculous toes-- all fat and stubby.

But, that's beside the point. Today at noon I'll be getting this lovely ganglion cyst (that lovely bump by my ankle bone) cut out of my foot. Joy. I know not many people are happy to have surgery, but I am. This ridiculous foot has been causing me pain and misery since March.

I'm so over it. I look forward to walking without pain. Standing without pain. And, most importantly wearing my cute shoes without pain. I'll even be happy to wear my ugly shoes too. Flip flops are great, but today my fat little piggies toes were cold. Cooler weather is coming and I want to wear real shoes.

I'm taking 7 days off work. My dvr is full and I have many shows to catch up on. I also plan on reading 2 books. Perhaps I'll even blog a little. Too bad Jacquie can't come home and take care of me-- it was, if you remember, her shoes that I tripped over when I broke my foot! Mostly I plan to stay off my foot and let it heal once and for all!!

Wish me luck! (And, pray for the doctor/bishop who is doing the surgery that he will get the whole nasty little thing out!!)
